About The Position

The Operations Manager role at SMF7 involves supporting, mentoring, and motivating a workforce of salaried and hourly employees. This position will lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact, and build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other leaders to load balance. The manager will be responsible for safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises, and will collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives. The role requires the ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, as well as stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
