We work together each day to foster an inclusive workplace culture where all of our employees feel respected, valued and have an opportunity to contribute to the company’s success. As an Operations Manager, within PNC's Centralized Funding organization, you will be based in Denver, CO. Core hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 10:00 am EST – 6:00 pm EST. The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the day to day operations of the Centralized Loan Funding function, ensuring the timely and accurate initiation and release of loan disbursements for newly closed and modified commercial loans housed on ACBS, including wires, DDA deposits, and cashier’s checks. This role oversees end to end funding workflows across both Funding and Funding Quality Control (QC) teams, validating that executed loan documents align with approved credit terms and minimum documentation requirements prior to funding. The Operations Manager ensures adherence to service level agreements, internal controls, and risk standards, including the 90 minute funding SLA, while balancing funding volume, complexity, and risk mitigation expectations. This position provides daily leadership and decision making support to analysts and work leads, including the approval or escalation of complex, high dollar, or exception based funding requests, and is responsible for reviewing, approving, and managing funding exceptions in accordance with Centralized Funding procedures. The role requires active oversight of funding activity across multiple systems and tools, including ACBS, FAB, CapitalStream, PINACLE, PSUI (PME), IMT, OSA, and related intake or exception platforms. The Operations Manager partners closely with internal stakeholders such as Relationship Managers, Closers, Loan Administrators, Credit Services, Treasury Management, and Line of Business teams to resolve funding issues, mitigate delays, and maintain a strong client and partner experience. In addition, the Operations Manager identifies, analyzes, and remediates operational risk, funding errors, near misses, and process breakdowns through root cause analysis and corrective action planning. The role tracks, analyzes, and reports key operational metrics—including volume, turnaround time, error trends, exception drivers, and quality results—to inform leadership decisions and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Operations Manager ensures team compliance with regulatory, legal, and policy requirements, including segregation of duties, approval thresholds, and documentation retention standards. The role also supports process, system, and policy changes by reviewing procedural updates, participating in UAT or implementation efforts, and reinforcing new processes, tools, and controls across the Centralized Funding organization. The ideal candidate brings demonstrated experience in commercial loan operations, loan funding, booking, closing, or servicing, preferably within a centralized or shared services model supporting high volume or time sensitive funding environments. This includes hands on familiarity with commercial lending documentation, exception based processing, complex or large dollar fundings, escalation driven decision making, and operational risk management. Strong leadership, risk assessment, communication, and cross functional partnership skills are essential, along with prior people leadership or functional oversight experience, exposure to audit or regulatory facing activities, and a proven ability to contribute to process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives within commercial lending operations. We seek motivated, driven and creative individuals that enjoy working as part of a team in a high energy environment which thrives on innovation and ingenuity. You will work together to create new solutions, which will provide our clients with an exceptional customer experience. Valued opinions, supported by collaborative teams, impact the success of the Commercial Lending Operations organization. This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC.
