Requirements

  • GED/Diploma required
  • A minimum of 5 years’ management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience
  • 6 years' experience in industry or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Experience with an independent contractor model
  • Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team
  • Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred
  • Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired
  • strong negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services
  • Direct, plan and budget preparation based on corporate goals and objectives
  • Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly. Systematically report these results to the Regional Operations and General Managers
  • Responsible for coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity for hourly and salaried positions
  • Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with Vendors and Independent Contractors for accountability to the operating agreement
  • Learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform your primary duties effectively.
  • Bring mechanical work experience that helps you contribute quickly to maintenance, repair, and inspection work.
  • Apply knowledge of OSHA requirements in daily work practices.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to support 24-hour operations, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.
  • Stay dependable and adaptable as business needs, staffing needs, and workload shifts.
