About The Position

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of operations, including route, dispatch, vault, and terminal operations. This role involves managing personnel, ensuring the maintenance of vehicles and equipment, controlling operational costs, and maintaining the safety and security of employees, vehicles, facilities, and cargo. The position also focuses on developing customer service capabilities, responding to customer inquiries, planning operations to meet branch goals, and delivering training to relevant staff. A key aspect of the role involves overseeing the sensitive environment of ATM machines and maintaining compliance with regulatory statutes.

Requirements

Logistics or transportation experience required
Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) required, including successful completion of testing in specific lift, carry, push, pull, repetitive coupling, and climb tasks.

3-5 Years of Leadership Experience a plus
College Education or Military experience is Preferred
1-2 Years of Safety and Security Experience a plus
Basic knowledge of Transit Vault, coin vault and CMS

Responsibilities

Recruiting, interviewing, testing, selecting, and training of operations personnel.
Training, development, and performance evaluation of operations supervisors.
Oversight and coordination of route, dispatch, vault, and terminal operations through respective managers/supervisors.
Oversight and coordination of maintenance of vehicles, forklifts, and other equipment.
Ensuring preventive maintenance and repairs are performed in a timely manner.
Controlling the costs of operations.
Ensuring the safety of employees, vehicles, and facilities through training, monitoring, and enforcement of policies and procedures.
Ensuring the security of cargo and terminal through training, monitoring, and enforcement of policies and procedures.
Investigating accidents and processing required paperwork.
Developing and maintaining customer service capabilities among all operations staff.
Responding to customer inquiries and/or complaints.
Controlling overtime hours, monitoring employee vacation schedules and maintaining effectiveness and efficiency of route, terminal, and vault operations.
Short and long-range operational planning to meet branch goals.
Delivering employee training to licensed armed driver/guards and terminal employees who operate or support armored transportation routes.
Overseeing the highly sensitive environment relating to ATM machines and the security required for all safety aspects.
Establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
Maintaining company compliance with regulatory statutes involving DOT, OSHA, and EPA.
Providing basic knowledge of Transit Vault, coin vault and CMS.
