The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring site wide operations are performing at agreed upon service levels at multiple locations and driving continual improvement in safety, logistics, operations and internal support processes. This role involves serving as the primary point of contact with the customer’s senior management team, ensuring compliance with site specific policies and regulations, and maintaining consistent communications between MAU and customer staff. The Operations Manager will also support and foster a safety culture, meet regularly with the customer for support and performance reviews, and manage crises. Additionally, this role includes talent management, supervising and developing direct reports, setting standards for recruitment in coordination with the MAU Recruiting Team, and being on call 24/7 for emergencies. The position also oversees the administration of OSHA Required Safety Programs, develops training materials, implements the Site Safety Excellence Plan, facilitates the Safety Action Improvement Process, and performs daily Safety Gembas. Other duties include overseeing safety training, validating powered industrial equipment training, documenting training, updating the Cross-Training Matrix, providing coaching, interfacing between customer and MAU leadership, providing resources for special projects, evaluating project performance, attending departmental meetings, and tracking/reporting PO billing & Site Expenses.
