About The Position

Dolphin Transportation Specialists, a proud member of the Hoffmann Family of Companies, is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager for our Naples, Florida location. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a hands-on operations professional with experience in charter bus, luxury transportation, or passenger transportation services. Dolphin currently operates throughout the Naples/Fort Myers, Sarasota/Tampa, and Fort Lauderdale/Miami markets and continues to expand. The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily dispatch, reservations, fleet coordination, and operational support functions to ensure exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency. This individual will work closely with dispatchers, reservationists, drivers, mechanics, and management teams to maintain the highest standards of customer service, safety, and fleet readiness.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in charter bus, luxury transportation, or passenger transportation operations management
  • Strong leadership and supervisory experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Experience managing operational technology and electronic data systems
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong analytical and team management skills
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervise dispatch and reservation operations
  • Organize and manage employee schedules for dispatch, reservations, and support staff
  • Coordinate closely with the Service Manager regarding fleet maintenance, repairs, and vehicle availability
  • Address and resolve customer service concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Develop and implement operational improvements to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor team performance and review operational goals regularly
  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to team members
  • Conduct regular meetings with operations, dispatch, reservations, and service personnel
  • Support operational systems including Santa Cruz, Samsara, GroundPad, Driver Schedule, and Mobit Text Alert software
  • Oversee facility and grounds support scheduling and maintenance coordination
  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness standards are consistently maintained by the wash team
