About The Position
New Horizons, a faith-based non-profit, is seeking a dedicated Operations Manager. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety of students and the smooth daily operation of the ministry. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing daily logistics, coordinating facility repairs, and training staff in all safety protocols to ensure the ministry runs smoothly and securely.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health and safety management or related field
- 3+ years experience in operations management, logistics, or facility leadership.
- 5+ years experience in safety related field
- 5+ years of staff supervisory experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Strong knowledge of vehicle safety regulations and fleet maintenance.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and driving record review.
Nice To Haves
- Instructor certified in CPR/First Aid
- CDL Class B with School bus endorsement preferred - must be willing to drive
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee all safety protocols to protect students.
- Manage the vehicle fleet and coordinate safe student transit.
- Oversee facility maintenance, repairs, and vendor relationships.
- Lead regular safety drills (fire, weather, intruder) for staff and students.
- Coordinate and track CPR, First Aid, and vehicle safety training for leaders.
