About The Position

Heartline Staffing is recruiting an Operations Manager for a full-time, on-site food and beverage manufacturing opportunity in Leominster, Massachusetts. This position oversees day-to-day production, quality, warehouse, and logistics operations while leading manufacturing employees and supporting fulfillment, safety, quality, and operational performance. This is a full-time day-shift position. During peak production periods, employees may work 10- to 12-hour shifts, typically between 5:00 AM–5:00 PM or 7:00 AM–7:00 PM. During the remainder of the year, shifts are generally approximately 9 hours. Schedule flexibility is required based on production needs.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of progressively responsible food or beverage manufacturing experience REQUIRED
  • 2–3 years of direct supervisory or management experience REQUIRED
  • Working knowledge of food safety, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and quality requirements REQUIRED
  • Experience leading employees with direct responsibility for staffing, scheduling, workflow, performance, and team output REQUIRED
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and operational tracking/reporting REQUIRED
  • Ability to work on-site in Leominster, MA and maintain schedule flexibility based on production needs REQUIRED
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship REQUIRED

Responsibilities

  • Oversee production, quality, warehouse, and logistics operations to meet daily and weekly fulfillment targets.
  • Lead manufacturing, quality, logistics, and temporary employees.
  • Coordinate employee schedules, assignments, workflows, and daily operational priorities.
  • Develop potential team leads and strengthen leadership capability within the department.
  • Coordinate raw-material availability and production priorities to support customer orders.
  • Identify and implement improvements involving productivity, waste, labor utilization, operating costs, and workflow.
  • Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations across production, quality, warehouse, and logistics functions.
  • Coordinate staffing and production activity to meet fulfillment requirements.
  • Coach, develop, and provide direction to manufacturing employees and potential team leads.
  • Support improvements in labor efficiency, waste reduction, workflow, and operating costs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, sanitation, GMP, HACCP, and workplace-safety requirements.
  • Document operational processes and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Track operational performance and maintain required reports.
  • Communicate with employees, management, Human Resources, and other departments.
  • Provide hands-on operational support during busy production periods.
