About The Position

Pressed Floral is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee and enhance all aspects of its operations. This role is crucial for ensuring that Production Teams, the Client Care department, and General Managers are well-equipped to deliver exceptional quality, operational efficiency, and an outstanding employee and customer experience as the company continues to grow. The position is based in Orem, Utah, and requires in-person work at the office. Out-of-state and remote applications will not be considered. The role involves managing day-to-day operational performance across all locations, including production, inventory, staffing, workforce planning, quality control, and operational systems. The Operations Manager will directly lead General Managers and collaborate with Client Care and Executive Leadership to develop scalable systems to support future growth. Periodic travel to the Atlanta, Georgia location is required to support leadership development, operational consistency, team culture, and growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience leading multi-location operations; ideally in production, manufacturing or a similar operations management role.
  • Experience managing operations P&L, inventory/MRP systems, and workforce planning.
  • Proven track record of owning process design & SOP development.
  • Comfortable working with & analyzing operations data to monitor performance, set and track KPIs.
  • Experience directly managing and developing other managers.
  • Comfortable with regular travel.

Responsibilities

  • Directly lead and coach the General Managers for each Pressed Floral location.
  • Partner with Client Care to ensure an exceptional client experience while aligning support with operational goals.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement where team members are engaged, supported, and excited to stay long-term.
  • Set clear expectations, healthy KPIs, and measurable goals that encourage both performance and sustainability.
  • Work closely with HR on hiring, onboarding, leadership development, performance management, and retention.
  • Own company-wide operational performance across all production locations.
  • Ensure production quality, efficiency, turnaround times, and profitability consistently meet company standards.
  • Improve workflows, systems, and processes to support continued growth while maintaining craftsmanship.
  • Lead implementation of operational improvements and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Own inventory planning and purchasing, including our MRP platform.
  • Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonality.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing waste.
  • Build scalable inventory systems across multiple locations.
  • Develop production team hiring plans based on seasonal demand and projected growth.
  • Ensure every location is appropriately staffed throughout the year.
  • Forecast labor needs and proactively recruit ahead of peak production seasons.
  • Monitor production efficiency, labor utilization, quality, inventory performance, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with finance to develop and manage operational budgets.
  • Identify margin improvement opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Ensure consistent product quality across every location.
  • Partner with production leadership on efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Develop systems that create consistency, accountability, and operational excellence as the company grows.
  • Lead the operational launch and integration of future Pressed Floral locations.
  • Travel regularly to our Atlanta, Georgia location to support leadership, training, operational consistency, and team development.
  • Build repeatable systems that allow new locations to become successful and self-sufficient.
  • Ensure every location reflects the same quality, culture, and client experience that defines Pressed Floral.
