Luminator Technology Group is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our Bus division. In this high-impact role, you will oversee and optimize the planning, assembly, and logistics functions that power the delivery of our innovative bus solutions. As a key operational leader, you will drive cross-functional collaboration between production, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure products are delivered on time, meet the highest quality standards, and exceed customer expectations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 +years of experience in operations management.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (electronic components preferred).
  • Proven experience managing large, complex projects on a global scale within manufacturing or technology environments (electronic components preferred).
  • Solid understanding of engineering, production, and global supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of Bus industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and project financials.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Bus industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements within the Bus sector.
  • Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (e.g. Syteline).

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily manufacturing and assembly operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and alignment with production targets through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Identify and implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes using lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Manage labor, equipment, and materials effectively to meet production goals within budget constraints while partnering with HR to ensure staffing and team development.
  • Ensure all Bus products meet industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications by closely coordinating with Quality Assurance and addressing any production issues.
  • Work with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components, tracking inventory levels to prevent shortages.
  • Enforce safety protocols, ensure operations adhere to relevant regulations, and lead initiatives to improve workplace safety and reduce incidents.
  • Serve as the main contact for customers, ensuring production timelines and quality standards are met, while addressing any concerns related to delays or specifications.
