About The Position

As our Operations Manager, you are the captain of the ship for a branch generating over $30 million in revenue. You will lead, inspire, and train a dedicated team of drivers and frontline personnel to ensure our daily operations run like clockwork. This isn't a "sit behind a desk all day" job—it’s a dynamic role where your leadership directly impacts our safety, culture, and bottom line.

Requirements

2–3 years of experience in the waste industry is highly desired.
BA/BS degree or equivalent hands-on leadership experience.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a major plus (or the ability to obtain one).
Meeting all safety-sensitive function criteria.
Stellar communication skills.
Proven track record of bringing out the best in large teams.
Comfortable working in an office environment about 80% of the time, but always ready to step out into the field, audit routes, and tackle real-world traffic and field conditions when needed.
Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Nice To Haves

Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and mentor an incredible team, championing an environment of fair treatment, high appearance standards, and progressive professional development.
Establish daily priorities to crush our customer service commitments, directing collection and disposal services to ensure peak utilization of fleet and personnel.
Lead safety programs by conducting monthly safety meetings, routine route observations, and ensuring the driving team is fully DOT-compliant.
Partner in developing and executing a winning operational profit plan, focusing on productivity standards, cost margins, and strategic growth.
