The Operations Manager is responsible for assisting in the directing and coordinating activities of terminal employees to provide cost effective, timely, quality service to customers. This role involves investigating customer complaints and resolving problems, as well as interviewing, selecting, training, and assigning new personnel. The Operations Manager will enforce compliance with all company policies and procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations. A key aspect of the role is reviewing and analyzing expenditure, financial, and operations reports to determine requirements for increasing profits and improving processes. The ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, is necessary.
