About The Position

The County of Blair is looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to provide direction, oversight, and technical guidance supporting the daily operations of the 911 Center’s dispatch responsibilities. Manages the training and integration of new telecommunicator staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• Five years of experience in a dispatch/911 environment.
• At least two years of experience supervising telecommunicators.
• Must meet minimum requirements as a certified telecommunicator.
• Maintaining active certifications in: CPR, AED, Emergency Medical/Police/Fire Dispatching (EMD/EPD/EFD), and Hazmat training.
• Must be certified through CLEAN/NCIC.
• Working knowledge of Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) required.
