About The Position

The Operations Manager will effectively manage and direct business activities for direct access and non-direct access of business. This role serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day questions and challenges. The position supports all key functions in a dynamic, expanding, fast-paced MGA environment. Responsibilities include supporting new and existing opportunities, onboarding new programs by analyzing program requirements for successful implementation, and working with developers and vendors supporting core underwriting systems, policy administration, premium, and claims. The role involves training and supporting users during implementations and troubleshooting exercises. Additionally, the Operations Manager will create and recommend operational workflow efficiencies for lines of business through documentation, workflow support, training tools, IT enhancements, and/or business outsource workflow support. Continuous educational development in all aspects of the business is expected to support and lead initiatives. The role also involves supporting monthly reporting requirements, analyzing data (premium, policy information), troubleshooting data, liaising with internal IT data managers, and working with carriers and markets. Support for underwriting audits, internal/external compliance (surplus lines, state requirements, etc.) is also a key function. The Operations Manager will improve, identify, and implement processes for efficiency in placing and tracking business, and will be identified as a "go-to" person for the program team, clients, design, underwriting, and sales strategies for direct access and non-direct access carriers. Identifying and communicating carrier specialties for greater efficiency and process development, and being instrumental in recommending and suggesting process improvements for identifying issues and developing solutions for greater efficiency are also core duties. The role requires providing proactive, customer service driven support to achieve revenue plans and processing/completing case management requirements for both light and full-service models.

Requirements

  • English fluency (Required)
