About The Position

Amazon's Worldwide Operations network is responsible for delivering millions of packages to customers daily. As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in meeting customer expectations by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders. You will lead and develop both salaried and hourly team members, focusing on maintaining high standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. This involves providing your team with the necessary tools for success and driving continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and analytical problem-solving. The operations workflow includes First Mile (product storage and readiness), Middle Mile (order transportation), and Last Mile (customer delivery). R2L is a specialized organization within Amazon focused on innovating the last mile customer experience to ensure speed and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
• Create and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Leaders to load balance
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
