About The Position

The Operations Manager is a member of the Store Management team at CVS Health, responsible for driving store execution and performance, and building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. This role supports the Store Manager in the total leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store, encompassing overall store management, supervision, policy implementation, sales and inventory management, employee staffing, training, development, financial management, and customer service leadership. It is important to note that this position is not part of the CVS/pharmacy Retail Management Development Program and does not offer a direct path to Store Manager; candidates aspiring to become a Store Manager should apply for Store Manager in Training openings.

Responsibilities

  • Drive store execution and performance

  • Manage sales and inventory

  • Provide customer service leadership
  • Lead others and work effectively with store crews
  • Supervise, assign and direct activities of the store’s crew
  • Effectively communicate information to store crew and supervisors in an open and timely manner
  • Support Store Manager with actions plans for operational and service improvement
  • Assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints
  • Promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank)
