About The Position

Responsible for managing all aspects of facility operations and maintenance, including but not limited to, front of house operations, preventive maintenance, limited governmental relationships, staffing, and ongoing venue set-up and tear-down, Production, Box Office, Security, Bar, and all other departments.

Requirements

  • Proven leader with strong management and communications skills
  • Extensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management is required
  • Minimum two years’ experience as House/Operations Manager or a comparable role
  • Empathy, patience, and sensitivity to the needs of individuals with disabilities
  • A natural interest in helping others and a heart for service. As well as a passion for delivering engaging and memorable fan experiences.
  • Along with venue General Manager represent the company and facility in all political and community matters and acts as a liaison with local municipalities
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple departments with a large number of staff- ideally experience managing Security, Ticket Takers and Ushers
  • Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential

  • Experience using Workday or time keeping systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all outstanding tasks are handled either personally or through delegation to other staff members when appropriate.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly operations budgets.
  • Ensure optimum operating condition of all facility equipment, such as crowd control devices, HVAC, Elevators, and other facility maintenance.
  • Perform routine housekeeping and grounds maintenance to ensure all facilities and exterior areas within the property lines remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Ensure licensing and compliance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis are complete and certifications are up to date.
  • Update and maintain bar menus, pricing, and product information. Assist with liquor inventory management and ordering.
  • Place supply, office, and maintenance orders.
  • Implementation and execution of all Live Nation policies, procedures and programs and ensure that company standards are maintained.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and training for in-sourced positions as well as ensuring proper onboarding.
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, training and supervising part-time staff/supervisors of multiple departments including but not limited to: Security, Maintenance, Cleaning and Usher/Ticket Taker and Bar.
  • Support invoice processing and maintain departmental trackers and reporting documents.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Manages any and all training programs and ongoing development of event staff.
  • Commit to providing a safe and enjoyable facility for guests and employees.
  • Oversees and ensures the execution of all operating department compliance policies and procedures.
  • Investigates and resolves guest related complaints.
  • Maintains and monitors records of all incident reports and investigates/manages all pending cases, including interviewing staff or other witnesses and attending arbitration hearings when necessary.
  • Effectively manages and approves all payroll for in-house departments.
  • Assist with booking created content events.
  • Schedule all in-house departments on a monthly basis.
  • Track and maintain employee licenses, certifications, and required training records.
  • Responsible for being present onsite for day of show and non-show operations.
  • Conduct and facilitate venue walk-throughs to maintain operational standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
