About The Position
A leading specialty building materials supplier is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and help drive continued growth at their Omaha location. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can improve operational efficiency, develop a strong team, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a building materials distribution operation with a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, inventory control, and team leadership.
Requirements
- Operations or management experience within building materials, distribution, or related industries
- Experience leading a warehouse or branch operation
- Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and process improvement
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily branch and warehouse operations
- Lead, coach, and develop operations team members
- Manage inventory accuracy, purchasing, and product flow
- Improve operational processes and efficiency
- Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and customer service support
- Partner with sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction
