About The Position

The Operations Manager role at Walmart involves initiating, directing, and participating in community outreach programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing supervision and development opportunities for associates. Requirements

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding associates accountable, analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance, overseeing safety reviews, and developing action plans.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, listening, assigning duties, evaluating performance, providing recognition, and setting clear expectations.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way service model, managing customer service initiatives, resolving customer issues, and providing process improvement leadership.
Assists the store manager in driving financial performance by ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved, controlling expenses, developing plans to correct deficiencies, and participating in budget forecasting.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting initiatives, identifying goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Works collaboratively, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity.
Attracts and retains talent, empowers and develops talent, and recognizes others' contributions.
