About The Position

GreenSpace Recycling is looking for an Operations Manager to join our San Jose team and help drive excellence across our Bay Area region. This is a salaried, overtime-exempt position based in and around San Jose, CA. Work schedules vary based on operational needs and will be discussed during the interview process. Because this role provides direct field support and responds to time-sensitive service needs, the Operations Manager must be able to travel to Bay Area sites in approximately 30-45 minutes when on-site support is required. Response times may vary based on traffic and operational demands. These expectations apply consistently to all candidates and team members in this role. GreenSpace Recycling provides professional waste remediation services to multifamily communities throughout California, Washington, and Oregon. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business administration preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role (at least 2 years of general management/ supervisory experience).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in strategic planning and process improvement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable balancing hands-on field work with administrative responsibilities.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to foster a positive and accountable team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily field operations to ensure service quality and efficiency.
  • Supervise, train, and coach operations team members.
  • Coordinate with leadership and cross-functional teams to meet client expectations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase safety and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Handle escalated client issues and support regional growth initiatives.
