About The Position

Phoenix Mechanical is seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to lead our HVAC Service & Installation teams in Elmsford, NY. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to directly influence customer satisfaction, employee development, operational efficiency, and company growth. Requirements

3–5+ years of leadership/management experience preferred
5+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
HVAC or plumbing industry experience strongly preferred
Experience managing service and/or installation teams highly desirable
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Customer-focused and results-driven mindset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations for our HVAC Service & Installation departments
Manage and develop field technicians, installers, and supervisors
Oversee scheduling, workload forecasting, staffing, and installation coordination
Drive customer satisfaction and resolve customer concerns effectively
Monitor key performance and productivity metrics
Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development
Oversee warehouse operations, inventory, equipment ordering, and ductwork fabrication
Ensure safe and efficient job-site operations
Partner with Field Service Support to improve technician performance and efficiency
Assist with performance reviews and operational reporting
Work closely with the President/General Manager on strategy and company initiatives
