Requirements

  • University graduation in a related field (Public Business Administration, Social Sciences, Commerce, Political Science, or a related field), supplemented by three years related experience.
  • Related experience or education may be considered as an equivalency on a one for one basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of government acts and regulations, including the Health Information Act, fiscal planning and forecasting cycle/processes, and quality assurance principles.
  • Experience in a leadership/management role.
  • Considerable experience in project management.
  • Experience with researching, editing, and composing correspondence, documents, and reports in a government or comparable environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing ADMO operations to ensure efficient administrative systems, coordinated workflows, effective correspondence management, and timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Providing strategic operational advice and guidance to the ADM, Executive Directors, and divisional staff to support decision-making, planning, and divisional priorities.
  • Leading divisional functions including human resources, business planning, budget coordination, FOIP administration, communications, and issues management.
  • Overseeing briefing materials, action requests, correspondence, and stakeholder communications to ensure quality, accuracy, strategic alignment, and timely delivery.
  • Leading and supporting administrative staff, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives through a systems-focused approach that enhances operational effectiveness.
  • Ensuring sound contract and grant management practices, effective stewardship of divisional resources, and compliance with ministry and government requirements.
