This position will be responsible for managing and directing all activities related to the Vehicle Processing Center’s operations and development of company objectives and strategies in UBC, PIO, and PDI. The Operations Manager will monitor and ensure all established production, quality, and delivery commitments are met while determining responsibilities of the assigned Assistant Manager(s) positions to accomplish business objectives. This role involves working with internal and external customers to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and expectations, ensuring all sections of the facility operate in a safety compliant manner, and advising the team of changing priorities and assignments to align with customer needs. The Operations Manager will collaborate with VPC department managers and supervisors to facilitate efficient processing throughout all sections of the Vehicle Processing Center, provide guidance for the development of processes and plans, and review/create production and operating reports. Additionally, this role ensures the training and development of employees, compliance with company, government, and customer policies, and ISO compliance standards. The position requires developing, maintaining, and monitoring production business plans for UBC, PIO, and PDI (VPC), performing record keeping, and organizing production data. This position is required to fill in where needed, including supporting operational positions, and may be required to assist in vehicle driving in urgent circumstances. Other duties as assigned.
