About The Position

We are seeking an Household Goods OPERATIONS MANAGER to join our Agent of the Year team in San Antonio, TX located just South of the DFW airport. In the Moving & Storage industry, our Operations Manager oversees our day-to-day operations, managing our fleet of drivers, crew and contractors. This is a leadership role opportunity for associates looking to become future General Managers. DFW location is a highly performing large branch for Berger Transfer and Storage. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
  • Minimum of 1 year Supervisor or Management experience with employee oversight
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Household Moving or Trucking industry
  • Maintain an organized workspace and complete tasks according to schedule
  • Strong multi-tasking skills required in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Fantastic problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter, motivated by daily challenges

Nice To Haves

  • Secondary education in business operations is preferred
  • Previous experience and strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage a fleet of drivers, crew and contractors ensuring on-time service, while maintaining timely data integrity
  • Maintain excellent customer service quality rating
  • Understand end user customer needs and concerns on home delivery
