About The Position
Carolina Oncology Specialists, established in 1983, provides high-quality, personalized healthcare to patients in Catawba County, offering in-clinic chemotherapy treatments and management of blood disorders. The organization seeks talented and highly-motivated individuals who are passionate about supporting community oncologists and their patients. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the clinical and administrative activities of the clinics, ensuring a safe environment and quality patient care through effective staffing, scheduling, and process development. This role also involves fostering a positive culture aligned with the practice's mission, vision, and values.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for staffing, scheduling and flow of the clinic to ensure safe environment and quality patient care.
- Plans, directs, organizes and coordinates the clinical and administrative activities of the clinics.
- Develops efficient and effective processes aligning all clinic departments to provide quality patient care.
- Attends management meetings as required.
- Conducts monthly staff meetings.
- Serves as liaison between all clinic departments
- Responsible for dissemination of information from monthly meeting with management to staff at clinic.
- Assists physicians with needs as they arise.
- Responsible to create and grow culture with the staff and all departments that align with mission, vision, and values of the practice.
- Oversight of daily operations.
- Other duties as assigned
