About The Position

Are you a proven leader with a passion for operational excellence and servant leadership? We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead production operations in a large, complex manufacturing facility. This role oversees multiple operations across several buildings and drives performance in safety, quality, efficiency, and service.

Requirements

Servant leader with experience managing 500+ employees in a manufacturing environment.
Strong decision-making skills grounded in data analysis and financial acumen.
Operational Excellence experience and familiarity with root cause analysis tools.
SAP experience highly preferred.
Ability to lead multi-shift or continuous operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience managing department managers across functional areas.
Knowledge of planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and resource allocation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management.

Nice To Haves

Experience in plastics processing or packaging industries.

Responsibilities

Direct and optimize production operations to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, and service.
Develop and implement improved processes with a focus on safety, quality, and cost.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools like 5 Whys, Kaizen and fishbone diagrams.
Monitor KPIs, anticipate trends, and adjust plans to meet targets.
Drive strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Facilitate improvement planning sessions and ensure measurable outcomes.
Promote a culture of safety and GMP compliance through servant leadership in a continuous operations facility.
