About The Position
The Operations Manager owns the day-to-day execution of everything that keeps a location running: warehouse operations, delivery and pickup scheduling, field crew supervision, inventory and equipment readiness, and client satisfaction on the ground. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on solving problems in real time and building a team that delivers flawlessly, event after event.
Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) in operations management, preferably in the event rental, logistics, or hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of inventory systems and logistics software is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL is a plus)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments

Responsibilities
- Own daily delivery and pickup schedules; optimize routes and dispatch crews for maximum efficiency
- Ensure on-time setup and breakdown of rental equipment at every event
- Manage the fleet, including maintenance schedules and compliance
- Lead and schedule warehouse, field, and delivery staff, flexing labor to match volume
- Train the team on equipment handling, safety, and customer service standards
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Manage inventory flow, including incoming/outgoing rental items, repairs, and loss prevention
- Run regular audits to keep equipment accurate and event-ready
- Partner with purchasing to maintain the right stock levels
- Be the go-to for operational escalations and on-site event issues
- Guarantee every rental item goes out clean, functional, and in excellent condition
- Keep sales and client services in the loop with proactive communication
- Track KPIs — delivery timeliness, equipment loss/damage, labor efficiency
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policy
- Report on operations regularly and flag opportunities to improve processes
