The Operations Manager will work with the general manager on deploying field service technicians to ensure all project requirements and budgets are met. This role involves managing all day-to-day operations and overseeing the full scope of installation, start-up, repair, and replacement projects in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings or municipal water and wastewater systems. Responsibilities include estimating, labor planning, job scheduling, work assignments, job completion, troubleshooting, and quality control. The manager will also troubleshoot complex service jobs by analyzing and solving electrical and mechanical issues, engage with customers for dispute resolution and satisfaction, attend job-walks, and gather information for estimators. Additionally, the role involves attending business events, collaborating with estimators and planned maintenance teams, driving business processes and profitability through sales and margin analysis, and ensuring an efficient and safe work environment through disciplined management and safety training. The Operations Manager is accountable for all A/R and A/P responsibilities, and will assist in hiring and mentoring a technically competent team of field employees.
