About The Position

We are looking for an Operations Manager Night Shift who will report to the Design Delivery Center Director to contribute towards overseeing the daily work processes, procedures, volumes, and deadlines for the department. This role is accountable for day-to-day production and service delivery within the Design and Delivery Center (DDC), ensuring client commitments are met while driving operational excellence and financial performance. The Operations Manager will serve as a primary escalation point for production and client issues and partner closely with Sales, Client Services, IS/Development, Marketing Services, Finance, Supply Chain, and Postal Affairs to deliver high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective print and mail output. Additionally, the role involves building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams and shaping the DDC’s evolving operating model. The Operations Manager will monitor departments daily, identify and report on inefficiencies and successes, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards, including maintaining safe working environments. This position is also responsible for adherence to contractual SLA & OLA standards, with any potential deviation requiring escalation and appropriate documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of production leadership experience, at a supervisor or lead level with print and mail or production expertise.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to assess situations and make decisions quickly.
  • Ability to manage workloads to meet contractual Service Level Agreements and OLAs.
  • Open to working a Night shift work schedule with on call responsibilities.
  • Can use a personal computer and has a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, and can perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Can stand/walk for 95% of the shift.
  • Able to bend, stoop and lift materials between 25-50 lbs on a frequent basis.
  • Proficient in English in a business environment.

Responsibilities
