About The Position

Anishinaabe Abinoojii Family Services is seeking a highly organized and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the Agency’s administrative, facilities, property, fleet, procurement, and capital asset operations. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the Operations Manager works closely with Finance, Information Technology, program leadership, vendors, landlords, and service providers to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations. This position provides leadership and supervision to administrative, reception, maintenance, and capital asset staff, ensuring that operational services align with Agency policies, procedures, First Nation mandates, applicable legislation, and culturally respectful service delivery.

Requirements

  • Relevant diploma or degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of operations, facilities, procurement, and asset management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check required.

  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to assigned staff.

  • Oversee fleet coordination and office supply management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with staff, communities, and partners.
  • Maintain confidentiality and participate in continuous improvement.
