About The Position

Grounds Guys is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the operations of their lawn care and landscaping business. This role involves managing teams, ensuring quality service, and contributing to the business's growth. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving others, enjoys the business aspects of operations, is adept at handling staffing challenges, excels in customer service, and possesses strong communication skills.

Requirements

Proactive leader with a strong work ethic and self-starter mentality.
Ability to interact with the public and employees.
Knowledge of mowers, trimmers, tractors, etc., including operation and preventative maintenance.
Willingness to complete training for required certifications and licenses within 6 months, if required.
Clean driving history.
Experience driving a trailer.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a supervisor.
Experience in lawncare or landscaping.

Responsibilities

Observe the organization of work to identify and resolve training issues and ensure quality work.
Interact with and develop relationships with customers, and identify, propose, and sell additional contract work.
Support the team, maintain a positive company culture, and find solutions for staff issues.
Ensure team members have the necessary training.
Implement and maintain safety training, equipment maintenance, payroll reporting, completion of all services, routing and scheduling, gross margins, and reporting processes to the Owner.
Implement Grounds Guys franchise systems effectively and efficiently.
Manage personnel functions including hiring, promoting, merit recommendations, disciplinary actions, and vacation schedules for all field personnel and staff.
