Operations Manager

Carazo Enterprise SL
$3,000 - $3,500Remote

About The Position

Carazo Group is an international, multi-entity group built around the premium cigar brand Adrian Magnus. We operate across Europe, Latin America, and the United States — spanning B2B distribution to retailers, B2C e-commerce, field sales in Spain's estanco channel, and bonded-warehouse logistics. We are in a phase of rapid, structured growth and are building a strong leadership layer to scale the group. The role involves owning the internal operational engine of the group — procurement and order management, the business-support team, and cross-functional projects — to enable the CEO to step out of day-to-day operations. This position acts as the CEO's right hand, taking ambiguous goals and returning finished results, while ensuring the group's back office runs cleanly across countries and time zones.

Requirements

  • Operations / project management track record with proven experience running operations or projects at a comparable multi-function or multi-country scale.
  • Team management experience, having directly managed a small team (assistants, coordinators, or procurement) and owned results.
  • Demonstrated ability to build processes, evidenced by SOPs, playbooks, or systems created that are still in use.
  • High degree of ownership and ability to work with low supervision; takes vague goals and delivers finished results without hand-holding; strong prioritization and judgment.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
  • A university degree (Bachelor's or higher) in business, management, finance, or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency with project-management software (Asana / ClickUp / Notion / Monday) and strong skills in Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail; reliability and accuracy are crucial for procurement and order management.

Nice To Haves

  • An advanced or distinguished degree, such as a Master's degree, or a Bachelor's awarded with honours/distinction.
  • Process & PM certification such as Scrum Master (PSM / CSM), PMP, PRINCE2, or Lean Six Sigma (Green / Black Belt).
  • Russian language proficiency.
  • Spanish language proficiency.
  • Experience in distribution, logistics, e-commerce, or FMCG industries.

Responsibilities

  • Own supplier coordination, purchasing, and end-to-end order processing and fulfillment coordination.
  • Lead and prioritize the business-support team (business assistants) and procurement staff, owning their output.
  • Run new initiatives end-to-end (planning, execution, follow-through) across the group.
  • Build and document SOPs, checklists, and workflows to standardize how work gets done.
  • Align sales, HR, finance, and logistics to hit deadlines across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Act as a filter and force-multiplier for the CEO, escalating only what truly needs CEO attention and deciding the rest.
  • Track operational KPIs and manage work through project-management tools and spreadsheets.

Benefits

  • High autonomy and direct access to the CEO
  • Room to grow into a broader operations-leadership seat
