About The Position

The Operations Manager role involves initiating, directing, and participating in community outreach programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing supervision and development opportunities for associates. This role also focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving financial performance, and coordinating job-related activities. The Operations Manager is responsible for upholding company values, promoting a culture of belonging, and acting with integrity. They will serve customers and members by delivering results, making data-driven decisions, and striving for excellence through continuous improvement and adaptability.

Requirements

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
• General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Responsibilities

• Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding associates accountable, analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance, overseeing safety reviews, and developing action plans.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, listening, assigning duties, evaluating performance, providing recognition, and setting clear expectations.
• Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way service model, managing customer service initiatives, resolving customer issues, and providing process improvement leadership.
• Assists the store manager in driving financial performance by ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved, controlling expenses, developing action plans for financial deficiencies, and participating in budget forecasting.
• Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting initiatives, communicating goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Upholds company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and supporting the Open Door Policy.
• Promotes a culture of belonging by embracing differences, creating a supportive workplace, and empowering associates to thrive.
