About The Position

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Operations Manager oversees production operations within the plant. He/she will coordinate the activities of the production, shipping/receiving, maintenance, and quality departments in processing materials and manufacturing products to ensure that optimal levels of quality, safety and productivity are met. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or other related field.
10+ years of manufacturing experience
5+ years of manufacturing management/operations leadership experience
Experience working within an ERP System – SAP Preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides leadership & perform essential management tasks.
This is a hands-on management position that supports, coaches, directs and oversee all daily operations of the plant production.
Ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
Reviews factory orders to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.
Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
Prepares production and personnel schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets customer specifications.
Reviews production and operating data and resolves operational and manufacturing problems to ensure minimum costs and highest possible quality, and to prevent operational delays.
Monitors machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance, product quality, and optimum utilization.
Continually champions the Health and Safety of the team members.
