About The Position

Gnostech is seeking an experienced and detailed-driven Operations Manager to join their team. This is a full-time position. The Operations Manager will act as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort, serving as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues. This role involves overseeing contractor execution of task order requirements, managing acquisition and employment of program/project resources, and collecting, analyzing, and reporting on key performance and program/project metrics. The position also requires developing and delivering executive-level presentations and collaborating cross-functionally with government and contractor teams to ensure consistent program/project delivery and documentation quality. The Operations Manager will provide direct supervision to program support staff, oversee daily workflow, task allocation, and workload balancing, and ensure team compliance with federal regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Defense Industry and Government contracting.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Knowledge of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • BA/BS degree
  • 10 years of experience in operations management.
  • Current active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities
