The Operations Manager - Site will be responsible for directing company programs and implementing company policy to ensure total compliance with contract duties between company and customer. This role involves planning and developing work schedules, preparing schedules for service personnel, assigning personnel to routes, and inspecting and evaluating the physical condition of the establishment for program compliance (safety, quality, and service). The position also includes conducting quality audits, auditing and maintaining inventories of supplies and equipment, investigating new and improved equipment and methods, and reviewing customer requests for service to ascertain the cause of the request and address it with management. The Operations Manager will implement organization policies and goals, analyze and facilitate budget requests to identify areas for reduction, and assist in promoting services to develop new markets and increase market share. They will inspect plants, evaluate the use of space and facilities, assist with plans, budgets, and schedules modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, and contracts, and ensure the site meets budget goals. Additionally, this role assists in developing long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements for program/process improvements, coordinates program specifications and requirements for proposals and contracts, and compiles data for estimates. Maintaining and reporting on the financial aspects of the business, including labor hours, overhead, supplies, expenses, billing, and forecasting, is crucial. The Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.), and directing supervisory management engaged in supporting facilities programs. They act as a liaison between the company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors, maintain contract and contractor status databases, review correspondence concerning contractors, and establish and maintain contact with contractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract process. Regular meetings are conducted to communicate with customers, clients, and employees, and assistance is provided with human resource concerns and issues. Some travel is required for this position.
