Job Description The Operations Manager and Site Lead manages site operations and cross-functional execution to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets in a vertically integrated manufacturing environment. Provides day-to-day leadership for production and support teams, translating business objectives into actionable operating plans while driving continuous improvement through KPI management and Lean/5S practices. Provide on‑site leadership and direction for daily operations at the Hanson facility. Translate business objectives into site‑level operational plans and priorities. Partner with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance to support execution. Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, efficiency, scrap, rework, and on‑time delivery. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring adherence to all safety policies and procedures; reinforce a strong safety culture across the plant. Promote 5S and continuous improvement through adoption of best practices, Prepare and manage operations staffing plans and budgets. Support management of the site operating budget and cost controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, Science, or related field, plus 5+ years of operations management experience; 10+ years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong manufacturing background; experience in machining and electronic assembly manufacturing preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership with a positive attitude, personal accountability, coaching and listening skills, approachability, and timely issue/conflict resolution.
  • Strong analytical skills, including inventory management, budgeting, and planning.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional improvement initiatives using data-driven problem solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
