About The Position

itD is seeking an Operations Manager III to lead operational coordination, budget management, and vendor lifecycle activities supporting the Central Security organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in vendor management, procurement operations, financial tracking, and cross-functional request coordination, with a track record of maintaining accurate budgets, managing vendor contracts, and delivering timely operational reporting across complex workstreams.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience managing vendor contracts or procurement operations.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Sheets and Tableau, including budget tracking, reconciliation, formulas, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, including PR/PO processing, invoicing, and accruals.
  • Experience managing intake or ticketing workflows for request management and status tracking.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing operational reports and stakeholder communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • DSS-4 clearance.
  • Background in security or IT vendor management.
  • Experience supporting a $10M+ vendor spend portfolio.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a relevant field required.

  • Experience supporting security, cybersecurity, or detective-response programs.
  • Experience working with enterprise financial, procurement, or contract-management systems.
  • Experience improving operational processes, reporting frameworks, or budget-management workflows.
  • Experience in a large technology organization or similarly complex enterprise environment.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the intake and triage process for Central Security budget and vendor requests, ensuring requests are accurately logged, prioritized, and routed to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Manage budget tracking activities, including reconciliation, accruals, forecasting, utilization reporting, and ongoing maintenance of financial trackers.
  • Coordinate procurement and vendor operations, including purchase requests/orders, invoicing, accruals, onboarding, and follow-up with Finance and Sourcing partners.
  • Oversee the vendor contract lifecycle, including renewal calendars, 90-day renewal alerts, portfolio status tracking, and contract-related follow-ups.
  • Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards that communicate budget health, utilization, portfolio status, and significant changes to stakeholders.
  • Drive vendor onboarding, quality reviews, issue remediation, and recurring vendor communications to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve budget management processes, request workflows, reporting practices, and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material, including blogs and media material.
  • Build materials to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events, both in person and virtually.
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
