About The Position

The primary focus of the Operations Manager is to oversee business operations by providing effective methods of day-to-day operations, maintain and develop client relationships, estimate work, and recruit/develop personnel for ongoing and future projects. Company Overview Founded in 1920, the E.S. Boulos Company (ESB) – a subsidiary of MYR Group Inc. – performs electrical construction services throughout the Northeastern U.S. We have two divisions, offering both powerline construction and commercial/industrial electrical construction, making us a full-service electrical provider. ESB’s commercial and industrial electrical construction division specializes in large-scale commercial electrical projects, telecommunications, traffic signalization, gas distribution, high voltage distribution service and maintenance. We also offer design-build and pre-construction services and has in-house pre-fabrication and AutoCAD capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience (10+ years' in a leadership role within the construction or utilities industry)
Strong commitment to safety and the ability to develop a solid safety culture with subordinates
Excellent salesmanship and communication skills to include written and verbal
Strong leadership and team building skills

Responsibilities

Ensure organizational safety expectations are met by all employees
Monitor the financial performance and production of projects
Ensure contractual compliance for current and future projects
Develop, strengthen, and maintain long lasting client relationships
Pursue business growth opportunities
Advise staff of company policy expectations
Lead, direct, and audit the work of assigned staff; act as a mentor
Coordinate employee performance reviews
Facilitate and enforce company policies and procedures
Regular and predictable attendance
Other duties as assigned
