At Wycliffe Bible Translators, your work is more than just a job. As an operations manager for Global Partnerships Engagement, you’ll be responsible for managing high-level operational and strategic workflows. You will support the Global Partnerships leadership team. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal, cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision, adaptability and a solutions-oriented mindset. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in advancing Wycliffe’s mission by proactively addressing priorities and supporting a wide range of needs, from project management and event planning to travel coordination and special initiatives. Through your leadership support of field projects, interpreter coordination and cross-functional engagement, you will help remove barriers to Scripture access, foster inclusive partnerships that strengthen the global body of Christ, and ensure GPE (Global Partnerships Engagement) operates smoothly in advancing Bible translation worldwide. You’ll partner with Global Partnerships Engagement leadership and other team members to: - Serve the Church – Our desire is to be inspired and directed by the Church. We want to respond to what God is calling the Church to do, and we want to reflect the body of Christ working interdependently and not independently. - Invest in Sustainability - Our goal is to equip churches and organizations with the capacity and expertise to sustain and expand their translation and Scripture engagement efforts, while collaborating with agencies within the global Church. - Achieve All Access Goals 2033 – By the year 2033, we hope to have contributed to the following: 95% of all people have access to a complete Bible. 99.9% of all people have access to a New Testament. 100% of all people have access to at least a portion of the Scriptures. Overview of Global Partnerships Engagement Committed to an understanding of Bible translation as a fundamental activity in God's mission and believing that God calls us to reflect His character and attributes as we participate in His mission, Global Partnerships Engagement (GPE) seeks to be a platform for collaboration in the Bible translation movement. We desire for organizations to participate and explore new ways to collaborate and work interdependently. Through this collaborative model, Global Partnerships Engagement seeks to advance the mission by leveraging individuals' motivation and accountability within the language community and by contributing to their capacity building.
