About The Position

This position is responsible for driving and implementing the business plan for their area of responsibility to achieve facility goals in production, quality, and safety. They will forecast staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports to identify operational improvements. A key aspect is monitoring and ensuring compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures. The Operations Manager will identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns, and supervise and manage associates and leaders by providing direction, monitoring performance, giving feedback, and identifying training and development needs. This includes teaching, supporting, and modeling company policies and procedures, and participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders. The role emphasizes building high-performing teams, embracing diversity, creating a culture of belonging, and empowering associates to thrive. It also involves working collaboratively, communicating with impact, attracting and retaining talent, and acting with integrity by upholding the highest standards of ethics and compliance, modeling company values, and supporting the goal of becoming a regenerative company.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management).
1 year's experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments / areas.
OR 1 year's experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates.
OR 3 years' experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments / areas.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities
