About The Position

Block by Block is seeking a Fare Inspection Operations Manager to oversee the program that supports fare engagement efforts on the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Light Rail System. This is a great career opportunity for a leader with 5-7 years of management experience in security operations or transit operations.

Requirements

5-7 years of management experience in security operations or transit operations.
Has supervised a large team of 100+ people.
Must have a valid NC Driver's License in good standing.
Outgoing, positive, and personable.
Is a problem solver and innovator.
Strong communication and narration abilities.
Understands Quality Assurance and exceeds client and team expectations.
High School Diploma required.
Minimum of 5 years management experience in security operations or transit operations.
Must have a valid NC Driver's License in good standing.
Expert Customer Service Skills
Expert Judgement
Excellent Communication Skills
Must have a strong background with proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.

Hiring and training a positive, skilled, and dependable team.

Identifying and solving problems to improve program quality.
Procuring and managing inventory of supplies and equipment.
Reporting outcomes through various channels (Excel spreadsheets, UKG Timekeeping, Budgets).
Hands-on working management in the field to provide coaching, mentoring, and continuous training.
