About The Position

The Operations Manager - Clinical - Congestive Heart Failure Clinic is responsible for the operations of The Center for Advanced Heart Failure and Pulmonary Vascular Disease, under the supervision of the HVI Director of Heart Failure Programs. This role encompasses personnel management, financial management, and operational management, along with collaboration on staff and program development. The manager oversees the daily continuum of care for Heart Failure programs and specialty services, providing leadership and direction to providers and clinic staff. The position directs departmental work to ensure an optimal patient experience through safe and efficient workflow management. A key responsibility is ensuring compliance with appropriate regulatory standards. The manager monitors and supports key business outcomes, including growth, service excellence, staff performance, patient outcomes, and the achievement of short and long-term goals for the departments, organization, Heart and Vascular Institute, and the system as a whole.

Requirements

  • Current CT state RN license, LCSW or Bachelor's Degree in a related health care field strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years leadership experience preferred.
  • Prior Cardiology/Heart Failure leadership experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • RN, LCSW or experienced Clinical Operations Manager preferred.
  • Masters Degree in related field preferred.
