About The Position

The Operations Manager, Change is responsible for leading and overseeing initiatives to identify areas for improvement within an organization, analyze processes, develop strategies to optimize workflows, eliminate waste, and implement sustainable changes across different departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven analysis and effective change management practices. This is a hands-on role that requires active engagement in labor management, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement projects. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to achieve operational goals and maintain a high-performing operations team. This role is based in on site in our Gilbert, AZ facility.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience manufacturing, compounding, fulfillment, or a related operational environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business or Analytics) is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft, Looker and other software used for production planning
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing production needs, and work effectively under pressure. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, and bending.
  • Ability to lead through others and provide direction to exempt leadership on flow moves and labor moves. Being comfortable with leading and working through others.
  • Can work any shift in the Pharmacy/Fulfillment/Compounding teams. H&H is a 24/7 operation.

Nice To Haves

  • Change Management expertise: Proven track record of successfully managing change initiatives and facilitating organizational transitions.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification: Knowledge and experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes.

Responsibilities

  • Leading Change Management Initiatives: Facilitating change management processes to ensure smooth transition during implementation of new processes, addressing employee resistance and providing necessary training and support.
  • Identifying Improvement Opportunities: Conducting process assessments, data analysis, and gap analysis to identify areas for improvement across operations, including cost reduction, quality enhancement, and efficiency gains.
  • Developing Improvement Strategies: Designing and implementing continuous improvement plans aligned with organizational goals, utilizing methodologies like Lean Six Sigma, value stream mapping, and other relevant tools.
  • Project Management: Leading cross-functional teams on improvement projects, setting clear goals, timelines, and performance metrics to track progress and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collecting, analyzing data to measure the impact of improvement initiatives, and presenting findings to leadership to demonstrate ROI and identify areas for further optimization.
  • Training and Coaching: Providing training and coaching to employees on continuous improvement methodologies, problem-solving techniques, and change management principles.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with different departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment with improvement initiatives and address concerns effectively.
