About The Position

The Sr. Change Manager is responsible for the facilitation and support of the CME Group IT Change Management function. This role focuses on ensuring that IT Change Management processes are applied to all configuration changes within CME’s controlled environments. You will utilize ServiceNow to manage the change lifecycle, identifying risks and ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting the continued operations of all CME Group Systems. Explore our full range of benefits What You’ll Do Process Support: Partner with POD teams and Engineers to facilitate the change process, ensuring continuous deployment delivery remains safe and structured. ServiceNow Coordination: Manage the day-to-day entry, tracking, and movement of change requests within ServiceNow, assisting users and support groups with platform navigation. Policy Application: Apply defined deployment windows and IT policies to change requests to ensure alignment between technology and business goals. Risk Review: Evaluate eCAB and Expedited change requests to confirm that necessary risk reviews and documentation are present before approvals are granted. Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in Strategic Release Management (SRM) meetings to provide transparency on major changes and coordinate downtime with impacted teams. Compliance Maintenance: Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met by keeping Change Management records and Confluence documentation accurate and audit-ready. What You’ll Bring Experience: 3–5 years of experience in IT Change Management or a related IT support function within a professional environment. ServiceNow Proficiency: Practical, hands-on experience using ServiceNow (or a similar ITSM tool like Remedy) to log, track, and manage change requests. Operational Mindset: A clear understanding of the ITIL framework and its practical application in managing risks associated with system changes. Detail Orientation: The ability to maintain precise documentation and follow strict procedural guardrails to meet regulatory standards. Collaborative Communication: The ability to work effectively across technical teams to ensure changes are understood, documented, and executed without disrupting operations. The pay range for this role is $89,300-$148,900. Actual salary offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education and comparison to internal employees (where relevant). Requirements
