Job Overview: The Operations and Logistics Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our distribution network, ensuring that products are delivered accurately and efficiently. This role involves managing logistics, optimizing supply chain processes, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Associate degree and/or equivalent training and work experience in Business operations
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in operations.
  • 4+ years ERP/Logistics systems experience

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and oversee logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, delivery, sales and supply chain leaders to make sure timely and accurate deliveries are made meeting Nebraska Liquor Commission and Eagle standards.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company standards throughout the distribution process.
  • Lead and mentor a team of logistics and operations staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, and customers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Address and resolve any logistical or operational challenges that arise, providing timely solutions.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor performance, forecast demand, and make informed decisions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on logistics and operations performance to senior management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate new strategies into operations.
