The Metro Vancouver based Operations & Logistics Coordinator position is an opportunity to join a growing team of professionals who are passionate about the SYLVIS mission to Make Waste History through sustainable residuals management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys subcontractor management, transportation logistics, schedule coordination, hauling and shipment tracking, data accuracy, and clear communication with subcontractors. Working with project managers, transportation contractors, farm partners and field personnel, you will maintain tracking systems and project records, support invoice reconciliation, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and client requirements. Note that SYLVIS does not own transport vehicles but works closely with subcontractors to manage transportation requirements and coordination. This is primarily an office-based, in-person position in at the New Westminster office in Metro Vancouver, with occasional field activities and trips to project sites. The position responsibilities include being on call to manage time sensitive phone calls outside of standard office hours. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with data entry and reporting, and motivated by supporting sustainability-focused projects through effective operational coordination.
