The HSC Operations Leader (Gate 4) will be responsible for scheduling and execution of work plan that support the JPort Test cell operations for 2nd shift and the weekend (as necessary). This role leads a team of hourly shop operations employees in the execution of Gate 4 - Engine Test processes within the Houston Service Center during 2nd shift operations (2 pm to 10:30 pm). The leader manages and plans resource allocation to meet engine test schedule targets, establishes and implements continuous improvement projects to improve Safety, Quality and cycle times for operations, and is responsible for hiring, training, developing and providing ongoing leadership of assigned personnel. They also establish and maintain communication tools and structure to ensure team understands and delivers on schedule targets, devise methods to track, communicate and drive relevant Operations metrics, and make recommendations to leadership as required. A strong commitment to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) culture, driving a safe workplace and environment, and unyielding commitment to Aero Alliance principles of Compliance and Integrity are essential. The role may perform any other job duties as assigned by the Gate Leader to support Service Center Operations.
