The Operations Lead is a critical role within the store leadership team, responsible for driving profitability and efficiency through effective operations. This position works closely with the Operations & Visual Manager to initiate, delegate, and provide feedback to the team, ensuring optimal results that support total store operations. The role involves leading and executing inventory management, investigating accuracy issues, managing key operational functions like shipment and receiving, and championing visual standards. Additionally, the Operations Lead supports a safe and efficient work environment through strong stockroom management. This role also partners with management to oversee reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities. A strong business acumen is required to leverage metrics for business-driving strategies and to dynamically assess the retail floor to meet the needs of the business, team, and guests. The Operations Lead also leads by example, inspiring staff in daily operations and guest experience, directly overseeing Operations Associates, and is responsible for talent recruitment and development. Collaboration with other leads ensures cross-functional training and effective business execution. The role executes company-level operations directives and projects in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager.
