About The Position

The Operations Lead is a critical member of the store leadership team, responsible for driving profitability and efficiency through coaching and effective operations management. This role works closely with the Operations & Visual Manager to initiate, delegate, and provide feedback to the team, ensuring optimal results for total store operations. The Operations Lead embodies ALO's Guiding Principles and leads by example, inspiring staff in daily operations and guest experience.

Requirements

2+ years of prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
Proven leadership capabilities demonstrating excellent decision-making.
Values feedback, is receptive to receiving feedback, and eager to provide it.
High energy, upbeat, and enthusiastic with the ability to integrate fun and work.
Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as a team.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute inventory management processes to maximize accuracy and reduce shrink.
Investigate inventory accuracy issues and escalate process or system gaps.
Manage key operational functions including shipment, receiving, processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor.
Support a safe and efficient work environment through stockroom standards and processes.
Partner with the Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
Leverage metrics to support business-driving strategies.
Assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests on the retail floor.
Directly oversee Operations Associates, including recruitment and talent development.
Use company performance tools to evaluate operations associates and provide feedback for growth.
Collaborate with the Visual Lead and Sales & Service Lead to ensure cross-functional training and business execution.
Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects, and initiatives in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager.
